In the this chapter. The author kept on leading me to observe life on Mars and Venus. During the reading, I can’t help smiling at every single point that matches my experience on how men and women interact. Martians always do things to prove themselves and develop their power and skills. Venusians Value love, communication, beauty, and relationships. Therefore, men would proudly put on his Mr. Fix-It cap and offfer solutions to make women feel better. What men don’t get it is that women want empathy, not solutions. On the other side, women are always trying to change men. When a woman loves a man shefells responsible to assist him in growing and tries to help him improve the way he does things. The Home-Improvement Committee was formed. This is absolutely describing my mom! she always thinks she’s nurturing be, while I geel I’m being controlled. Instead, I want her accptance. The book starts to affect how I perceive the daily interactions with the oppisite sex(my sister and my mom for instance). I used to think that “Women are just like that. There’s no way that I can change them.” Recently after reading the first two chapter of the book, I gradually begin to understand why they act like this and react like that. For a book providing tips of relationships, I have already given it a well-done. Its wrriten stlye and the pace of leading the readers to the core are perfectly organized. Now, when a woman wants to share her feelings about her day, I would try my best to bit my tougue whenever I get the urge to offer a solution or change how she is feeling. I believe that I will be surprised when I experience how much she appreciates me.
